- Additional Information
- " spend a lot of time researching for animal awareness. I receive alerts from Rise-up, The Humane Society, In Defence of Animals,Taunton Animal Rights Activists, SHAC, PETA, Animal Protection Institute, Farmed Animal Watch, Dawn Watch, Farm Sanctuary, Liberation for our Brother and Sister Animals, Boston Animal Defense League, Project R&R, Win Animal Rights, The Animal Liberation Press Office, IFAW, The Animal Voice Newsletter, The Minnesota Primate Freedom Project, and Compassion over Killing to name some. I also receive google alerts for animal cruelty, animal testing, animal rights, animal abuse, primates, animal law, and animal intelligence and factory farming.
This information is used to help spread awareness of the plight of animals. I believe that animals should be considered from a moral and ethical view but current issues and scientific facts need to be known as well.
Crueltyfree.com http://www.crueltyfree.com/
is a blog-networking type forum of which I am a Senior Member. Some discussions concern Vivisection, Factory Farming, animals in entertainment, petitions, animal abuse, Vegan issues, etc. I post animal news and updated current issues there almost daily as well as I post a thought, link, video or petition of the day.
I have a Myspace page devoted to animal abuse awareness.

There are links all over the page to educate. I have 2189 'friends' and counting. It is a great way to enlighten thru a ripple effect to people who have no idea about what is going on with animals.
I am a member of Care2 http://www.care2.com/
linked with The Petition Site http://www.thepetitionsite.com/
On this site I just sign petitions as the news is not always current although the site is very user friendly.

- Introduction
- I joined to meet other like minded activists in my area.
Indifferance to anothers pain makes you part of it....
- When do you have availability so that other members can reach you to pair up to do activism?
-
Weekends are good.
- Why do you want to help animals?
-
I am passionate about EVERY aspect of amimal welfare for who can truly say which animal suffers the most. I am on a quest to open the spiritual eyes of meat-eater, pro-testers, dog breeder, hunters, etc. with scientific data and moral or religious reasoning. Only through awareness and action can there be enlightenment for all living creatures.
- What type of activism do you enjoy? (i.e. leafletting, tabling, hosting film screenings, letter writing, restaurant outreach, etc...)
-
I have mostly signed petitions and research the news daily as to what is going on with the animals to spread awareness. (current legislation, animal abuse, rights and concerns)
