Hey kids!!!!

This Saturday, April 11th at 8pm come on out to the El Mocambo, listen to some music, dance, and help....

SAVE OUR SHARKS!!

For those who aren't aware shark populations worldwide are down about 90% (thanks mainly to the shark fin and shark cartilage industries) so we've got to do what we can to raise money and awareness for this issue so we don't have this species go extinct.

There's going to be three awesome bands on the roster that night:

THE REST

ESCALATE!

THE VULCAN DUB SQUAD
www.myspace.com/thevulcandubsquad

As a special bonus we'll also have Rob Stewart, writer/director/star of the award winning film "Sharkwater" in attendance to give a short talk!!!

Does it get any better?????

YES!!!!!!!!!

In addition to the above the first 100 guests to arrive WILL RECEIVE A FREE GIFT FROM LUSH!!!!

WOW!!!!! Now that's value people!

Doors open at 8:00PM and tickets are only $10 at the door with a non-perishable food item or $12 without....

Make sure you're there early enough to get your gift! :)

Directions/Meeting Place:

The El Mocambo is super easy to get to being located on the west side of Spadina just south of College. Both the Spadina and College streetcars will get you there directly but it's also just a short walk north from Dundas for those who live along that line. For the drivers in the group, there is on street paid parking on both Spadina and College and, indeed, all over the area on side streets.

Since the doors open at 8pm I'm planning to be there no later than 7:45 so, if anyone would like to "meet up" (get it? meetup??? ;) so we can go in and hang out as a group, just look for me on the sidewalk out front at that time (and hopefully we'll be early enough to get those free gifts! ;)

I'm also planning to do dinner ahead of the show at the newly re-opened King's Cafe on Augusta just south of Baldwin at 6pm.....all are welcome to join and, in that case, we'll just walk (about 5 mins) over to the show as a group...check the other meetup announcement for that...

Any questions, as always, fire away......

Hope to see you all there!!!!

Paul :)

NOTE: My apologies to whomever this may affect but the show has been tagged as 19+
