Spring is upon us and the weather's getting better, so why not come out on Saturday, April 25th from 11 am to 5 pm as UTCARE celebrates and caps off Earth Week by hosting our very first Animal Rights Eco-Fair!
This will be a really fun and informational day with guest speakers Harold "Farmer" Brown (President and founder of FarmKind and featured in the film Peaceable Kingdom), tabling by various local animal rights/enviro groups, TWO movie screenings (The Witness and Peaceable Kingdom) as well as a FREE super yummy vegan feast prepared by sensational campus cooking collective HotYam!
We're holding the event at the International Student Centre located at 33 St. George St. just north of College Street. If you're coming by TTC it's just a 5 min. walk west from Queen's Park Station on the University/Spadina line. Drivers are probably best off parking on one of the side streets in the area.
Admission is FREE so come one, come all, as this will be one event that you won't want to miss!
As always, direct any questions or comments my way and I'll do my best to answer them!
Hope to see you all there!
Paul :)
