WALK FOR WILDLIFE AND FAMILY FUN FESTIVAL
Saturday, April 19th 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Registration: 9:30am
Walk Starts: 11:00am
Meet Animal Planet's Jeff Corwin as he kicks off the SPCA Wildlife Care Center's Walk for Wildlife for the third year in a row at Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach. Bring your animal companion and enjoy a fun-filled day with activities for everyone!
Over the past 39 years, the SPCA Wildlife Care Center has grown to be the largest facility of its kind in Florida. Last year alone, nearly 14,000 sick, injured and orphaned animals passed through the Center's doors.
The SPCA Wildlife Care Center's mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and release native wildlife that has been harmed or displaced; to treat and place certain needy domestic, exotic and farm animals; and to educate the public toward co-existence with all animals.

While you're there having fun with your animal companions and helping to raise money and awareness for the shelter, you can bring along a petition form for Citizens for Pets in Condos http://www.petsincond....
Collect signatures to institute a law which would allow pets in condos. Allowing condo owners to live with pets would help to empty our shelters by providing homes for thousands of homeless dogs & cats.
Don't forget to bring clip boards & pens.
